Aims & Objectives

The aim of this course is to enable learners to acquire the underpinning knowledge relevant to the business of ship operations and management. By looking at the role of ship managers and explaining the variety of roles they carry out and their relationship to crews and industry bodies, we explain how the manager is an agent to the ship owner.
